Topic: Forensics
|
| | January 30 - The Bones Tell the Story
- A program designed to show what we can learn from human bone analysis. We will also evaluate ancient bones using the same techniques.

| | February 6 - The Organization of Trace Evidence
- A program designed to teach students how to evaluate crime scene evidence including "splatter," broken glass, shoe and tire prints, finger prints, and DNA analysis.

| | February 13 - Hidden Messages
- A program designed to help students reveal hidden or encrypted messages. Special emphasis will be placed on handwriting analysis and chemical spectroscopy.

- A program designed to teach chemical analysis, including the identification of unknown substances.

Topic: Making a Cardboard Boats / Making Cardboard Armor

| | March 6 - How to build a Cardboard Boat
- Students will actually start building a cardboard boat in preparation for a competition scheduled for Saturday afternoon, March 13th.

| | March 13 - Cardboard Boat Competition
- Students will complete their cardboard boats and will be encouraged to participate in the competition.

| | March 27 - How to build Cardboard Armor
- A program designed to teach the science associated with armor-building from around the world.

| | April 10 - Looking for Protists
- A program designed to teach students how to use a compound microscope to explore life found in a drop of water.

| | April 17 - Testing Stream Water
- A program designed to take the classroom activities outdoors! We will be looking for life both in the stream and along the bank of the stream.

| | April 24 - Crystals
- A program designed to explore the shape of crystals under the microscope.
