The purpose of this competition is to allow the contestants the opportunity to let their creativity and imagination go wild. Contestants are challenged to build an innovative, multi-sensory machine that does absolutely nothing.
(1) Construct a machine using any materials desired. The machine can move, give off light, make noise, produce odors, or vibrate, but must not have any recognizable function.
(2) The machine should be mounted on a plywood base no larger than 80cm x 80cm.
(3) The dimensions of the machine can be no larger than 80cm x 80cm x 200cm (height).

Judging
(1) Contestants must be present with their machine to provide a demonstration for the judges.
(2) Grade groups do not apply in this competition.
(3) The winner of the event will construct the most creative machine. The judges will consider:
- Sight (color/sparkle)
- Sound
- Smell
- Steps or Processes
- Unique features
- Overall viewer impact
- Complies with size limit
