(1)Individuals will compete to determine who has the greatest grasp of Harry Potter Trivia. No teams or grade groups will be allowed in this competition.

(2)The first 2 rounds of competition are closed to the public. The Final Round is open to the public.

(3)The competition is scheduled for 6:00 PM, Friday, November 14th, in the Levy Learning Center at The Winston School. Groups of students will be asked 30 questions. The two students from each group scoring the highest number of correct answers will go on to the second round in the playoff process.

(4)The second round in the playoff process will be conducted immediately following round one. In this second round, groups of students will be asked 30 questions. The student scoring the highest number of correct responses in this second round will go on to the Finals.

(5)In the first two rounds of this event, individual competitions results may be close. If this occurs, the judges may invite contestants losing by just a few points to move on to the next level of competition.

(6)In the Final Round, students will be asked 30 questions. The student scoring the highest number of correct responses will be declared the winner of the competition.

(7)Grade Groups will not apply in this event. No “handicaps” are provided.

(8)Questions will be drawn from the complete Harry Potter series of books.
